So, sad news. And I don't want to come off as a beggar, but... My little kitty Chip has been admitted into the hospital in need of surgery to unblock a blockage in his urethra. It's an unfortunate problem that stems from a UTI in male cats mostly. Anyway, I was given an estimation for $1000 - $1200 and it might not be a permanent long-term solution. There's another surgery for that where it may cost triple of that.
UPDATE #4: Chip's now been two out of four times to the vet for his post-surgery check-ups as well as had 2/4 booster shots to help prevent the problem recurring. The vet checked out his urine last week and everything seemed normal, except for a mild infection that he has-- which is being treated by the anti-biotics I was given for him the day I brought him home. Everything else seems normal. The FELIWAY dispenser finally arrived and besides it getting really hot (you plug it into a wall socket), it seems to be calming them down (or am I seeing things? I did just move a couple of months ago and I'm wondering if they've just naturally and finally settled down or if it is the dispenser...hm...). It doesn't smell or make a sound, so that's good I guess. Anyway, he's got his second last appointment this Thursday and I'll be able to pay the rest of the bill off by then.
UPDATE #3: Chip's blood test results came back-- besides showing signs of stress (some compound shot up, I can't remember the name) his blood is otherwise fine. Which means he doesn't have any underlying problems. He's been taken to his first of four weekly visits and the vet was happy with his progress and other vital signs. C: Now if I can keep him that way, he should be good for the years to come. Both my cats have surprisingly taken to the new diet and have been happy with the new water fountain I bought them (the FELIWAY dispenser should be here anytime now). Now all I have to worry about so it seems is paying the bill...
UPDATE #2: Chip was allowed to come home on Saturday, and he seems to be urinating just fine. The vet recommended I buy a water fountain for both my cats to use as it recycles and purifies the water, along with adding enrichment to their lives (they like to paw at the moving water and it promotes more drinking). I'm also investing in a FELIWAY dispenser, which emits an engineered pheromone into the air that helps relax and calm anxiety in cats (which can cause UTI's and blockages). They're also now on strict diets so I'm hoping to prevent it ever happening to my other cat Yugi and for it to never happen to Chip again. The bill turned out to be $1100, I still owe $700 and Chip has four more weekly visits to attend for checkups and several injections. He's getting around like normal and is on antibiotics to ward off any infections after having the catheter inserted in him.
UPDATE: I got a call from my vet who took care of him-- apparently he was completely blocked up and pretty badly dehydrated. The vet managed to unblock him and now has him on fluids. He won't be out until he urinates properly on his own, I'm hoping to get him by Saturday. And before any of you say that I'm a bad pet owner, consider this: I've been taking him almost fortnightly to the vets since Christmas (when he started showing signs of the UTI's). Every time I went, I was prescribed with antibiotics for him. In fact, two days ago today he finished another course of antibiotics. I saw a different doctor today since my usual vet was not there and thank God he opted for this surgery for him. I could've lost him through the night had I not taken him today.
So please, if you wouldn't mind commissioning me, I could really use the money.
Thanks.

Q&A
1. Is there only a certain amount I can order per commission?
There is no limit per order, however, if you have a deadline you must be reasonable as your order may be in a queue (I will specify this before accepting payment).
2. What if I don't like something in the commission?
Before finishing a picture, I will upload a sketch to my scraps folder to ensure the picture is okay for me to clean up and colour. I will make any adjustment
SLOTS: As many as I can handle at once...
Please note that as I have other obligations in my life as of right now, commissions may take a little while. I'm really sorry but please message me if there's an urgency in getting them done (such as they're a gift, etc). Otherwise, I'll get them done as soon as I can. I appreciate the patience.

Art requests, Updates + TT: The Judas Contract
Okay, far out I tried to write this journal and I guess dA logged me out at some point and now I have to rewrite the fucker. :|
So, I'm fairly rusty at all this now so please forgive me if this journal looks like shit. XD;;
Anyway, I've kind of been in primal mode for the last 3 years or so-- since my Dad passed. Rather than being all creative and shit, I shut off and projected my energy on getting a proper job and focusing on my career. Lo and behold, POOF! I've been a Graphic Designer for the past 1.5 years, roughly. Compelling stuff, I know.

You know what? Some of you might disagree but I actually liked
Teen Titans vs Justice League...
Okay, guys...
Guys.
Guys... :|
What the actual fuck was that? I was thinking of doing one of those long winded reviews I used to do, but for fucks sake...
THERE WAS A SAILOR MOON-ESQUE TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE.

New SERIOUS BUSINESS ACCOUNT!
No, this isn't a 'OH MI GOSH, IT'S A NEW YEAR I NEEDS A NEW LIFE!' kind of bend. It's just, if I want to use deviantART as a serious means of showing off my art with the intent of perhaps getting a job as a graphic designer or along those lines, I need to showcase more than a shit load of fanart and the like. :XD:
Please, come and have a look if you would care to. I'm still getting it going but would appreciate any support.
