Hi again, it's been a while since my last journal...and look at all the changes dA decided to make to mess with me. D< WHERE IS EVERYTHING? WHY IS EVERYTHING DIFFERENT?! FFFF--
Anyway, long story short as some of you may have read in my previous journal: my father (with whom I associate with being my only real family, another long story...) had been very sick. He passed away September 8th after suffering through Stage 5 lung cancer, severe COPD (emphysema) and finally Aspiration Pneumonia. All of which alone are trouble; trust my Dad to get them all and get through them for the most part. However, the damage from the pneumonia in the end is what took him. Moving on, you're probably wondering why or how I'm reflecting on this in such a lightly written manner. It's called 'moving on', something I'm trying so desperately to do. So please don't ask questions, I've told you all you need to know.
In other news, my commissioners
who have been ridiculously good and patient to me (you all know who you are! D<) please bear with me just a little longer. In the time that I had to tend to my father, I've also had to deal with the... let's call them 'politics' thereafter so drawing was on the bottom of my 'to-do' list. I figured I shouldn't bother trying right now to belt them out because they wouldn't be my best work. I've decided to get back into the swing of things first, then work on your commissions.
I hope that's okay. My school was kind enough to give me a bereavement period so I won't be back until next semester which I'll use to keep me focused on other things instead of the obvious.
Speaking of my commissioners, it might interest you that my little kitty cat Chip (who prompted my need for extra money for his surgery in the first place) is doing exceedingly well nowadays and has made a few new kitty friends in my new roommates cats.
And on a positive note: DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION. AHH.
And that'll be my update for the time being.
Hope everyone else is having a good second half of 2014...>_> Mine hasn't been the best but it can only get better from here. At least that's what I've been told.
