Hi again, it's been a while since my last journal...and look at all the changes dA decided to make to mess with me. D< WHERE IS EVERYTHING? WHY IS EVERYTHING DIFFERENT?! FFFF--

Anyway, long story short as some of you may have read in my previous journal: my father (with whom I associate with being my only real family, another long story...) had been very sick. He passed away September 8th after suffering through Stage 5 lung cancer, severe COPD (emphysema) and finally Aspiration Pneumonia. All of which alone are trouble; trust my Dad to get them all and get through them for the most part. However, the damage from the pneumonia in the end is what took him. Moving on, you're probably wondering why or how I'm reflecting on this in such a lightly written manner. It's called 'moving on', something I'm trying so desperately to do. So please don't ask questions, I've told you all you need to know.

In other news, my commissioners who have been ridiculously good and patient to me (you all know who you are! D<) please bear with me just a little longer. In the time that I had to tend to my father, I've also had to deal with the... let's call them 'politics' thereafter so drawing was on the bottom of my 'to-do' list. I figured I shouldn't bother trying right now to belt them out because they wouldn't be my best work. I've decided to get back into the swing of things first, then work on your commissions. :) I hope that's okay. My school was kind enough to give me a bereavement period so I won't be back until next semester which I'll use to keep me focused on other things instead of the obvious.

Speaking of my commissioners, it might interest you that my little kitty cat Chip (who prompted my need for extra money for his surgery in the first place) is doing exceedingly well nowadays and has made a few new kitty friends in my new roommates cats. :)

And on a positive note: DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION. AHH.

And that'll be my update for the time being. :B Hope everyone else is having a good second half of 2014...>_> Mine hasn't been the best but it can only get better from here. At least that's what I've been told.

Thank you! :) I'm doing somewhat better these days. I'm going to try to get back into drawing again so I can finally do my commissions. XD

Hi, if you would be so kind to send me a note instead of publicly trying to deal with this, I'll update you. I'm hiding your comment because even though yes you have every right to ask me this, you could have had the consideration to send me a note instead.

Edit: Nevermind, she didn't make it through the night...
Her health went downhill so fast...

Oh, I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything to help. Since the message is edited, I wasn't sure what went wrong?

To be frank, however, if it was something she didn't make it through the night with, I highly doubt anything I would've said could've helped. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Would it be too much to ask what the issue was?

It's alright, thank you.
And the kitten wasn't eating well, the mother didn't seem to be giving milk anymore so I tried to feed the kitten milk or kittwith a tiny bowl or bottle, but she sometimes wouldn't eat at all. But before she wouldn't eat much she seemed really healthy, but her meow would either sound really weak or very loud. And when she did meow loud it made a sort of warbled kind of meow. But then her health just dropped so fast, she didn't move as fast as she did, she wouldn't eat at all, and what made me heartbroken was before I went to sleep she would walk around with her chest on the ground like she was scratching it or something while meowing very loud :c

Sounds like she was the runt of the litter and so mother cats have a habit of disregarding the weakest of the litter and don't see it as 'worth it' as cold as it sounds. That actually happened to my cat Chip, but fortunately enough he wasn't too young to leave his mother.

And I'm not having a go at you or anything, but I do hope that you didn't feed that kitten cow's milk...they're intolerant to it and it does more harm than good, despite the common myth that cats love milk when in actuality they're lactose intolerant. I know things are different where you are, but if it were me I would've immediately had the kitten taken to the vet instead of trying to intervene seeing as there is more than one thing that can go wrong with kittens and cats at any age, and the main and most common thing is something called cat flu. It's not as simple as what we humans get, and it can in fact kill cats and kittens if not properly treated, and it is highly contagious among cats.

I'm not trying to put you down, and I am truly sorry this happened. :(
